Culinary curiosity day 1...

Today on my first journey into culinary curiosity, I decided to bake a batch of pink lemonade cookies. Granted, they weren't exactly what  I wanted to make and they came from a box mix but they look good and  the batter tasted pretty good. Plus, I bought pretty pink frosting to go on top for tomorrow's dinner.

Sunday has become our BFF Dinner Night. We have become really close friends with another couple and we go to their house each week and have dinner and play board games. This week, I wanted to actually contribute something other than a bad of salad or a loaf of garlic bread. So I made the cookies. As I said before, they were not what I really wanted to make but close.

After nearly a week of searches, I couldn't locate the correct recipe for Lemon Drop cookies. I'm determined to find "the one" and I will  know it when I see it. For now, these will have to do. If only I had a camera so I could post pictures of the end result.

I really need to upgrade my phone. Among other things.
